I've been requested to added the sender of an e-mail as a cc recipient. Unfortunately it could be one of 5 or 6 people from one of a dozen or more machines. Is there a way to have access look up what address is being used as the 'from address' and include that as a CC?

I know there will be a copy in the sender's sent box but they want a CC.

I've looked around and just haven't found anything like this. A lot of 'sent of behalf of' and things like that, but never adding the user's current e-mail address as the CC... Either that or I have my terminology all wrong.

Thank you for all the help you've provided already!

I believe you have to feed a string containing the sender's email address to your routine that sends the mail. You are sending with CDO, right?

thread705-1304786 Contains the code, for the most part (a couple of small changes, txt no longer appears in front of field names). I borrowed the code from another thread (which I can no longer find unfortunately).

Access 2002, Outlook 2002, everyone has the same software.

Thank you for your help!

Is objEmail.SenderEmailAddress an Outlook 2003 feature?
Seems to indicate it is (Reference Outlook 11.0), which is more recent than what we have (Outlook 2002, 10.0).
