Adding text to a textfield from a popup

I have an online form containing a text field to store a list of keywords.

The keywords are defined in a pre-defined list accessed via a pop-up.

What I would like to do is when a keyword in the pop up is clicked it automatically places it in the textfield. I would like keywords seperated by a comma ','.

If anyone has any suggestions how this can be done they would be mostly appreciated.

to update the value of a field in a parent window, do this:

opener.document.getElementById("myFieldId").value = "blah";
