Is there anyway to add text directly on a chart when a report is in Preview mode? That way the users could preview thw report, add some info and print it out. If not can the report (chart included be exported out of Access into a format that they could edit (say .jpg)? I know that they can export using snapshot, but I don't think they can edit that. Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA...

You can add a text box anywhere on the report with a control source like:
=[Enter Text]
This will prompt the user when the report opens. There isn't much you can do after a report has opened.

If you want to add comments to an image of the report, I suggest you buy SnagIt ( This unbelieveable utility allows you to "print" to SnagIt where you can add text, shapes, arrows, and lots more prior to printing or saving. This is only a small part of what SnagIt can do. (I don't work for TechSmith but love this product).
