adding sound in director

i am developing a CD in director 8 which contains several movies and i want to add a background music so i add a .wav (same in each movie )file in the sound channel of each movie .
when i shift from one movie to other the sound pauses for some time and then starts as that perticular movie loads
i want a continuous music effect so how to achive that

you can use a hidden MIAW that playes the sound.

better yet, use a sound puppet to play the sound in an unused channel (I try to use channel 3 or 4 to keep the basic channels open for speech and clicks)

now, lingo will play this sound until you quit the movie or use another lingo command, if you jump to another movie the sound will continue, you don't even need to repeat the command in the other movies only in the first one
