Hi all, thanks in advance!

I have a network of 4 computers running peer-to-peer with file and print sharing. I am adding a server that I want to act as a web server and i think as a domain controller/DNS for both internet and intranet. I have a high speed line coming into the house and a router distributing it around. Currently all of the computers are connected to either that router, or a second router/wireless router which is in turn connected to the main router.

The server is a poweredge 2300, with 2 NIC cards and running win server 2k advanced.

How do i need to set this wiring, router, and server/clients up to allow the server to host a internet website AND manage my intranet at the same time? I also have ms exchange which i would like to deploy to use for email services. any help would be appreciated,

if you need more information, let me know!

Wow, thats a lot of equipment for a home network. But... I know best practices so far as security are concerned generally have an email server and web server on a separate box. I don't really see why you would need DNS services on a small network like that unless you just wanted to play w/DNS in Windows Server. However, really all you need to do is forward Port 80 on your router to the internal IP of your web server. Same goes for port 25 for email. Of course, you will have to have an MX record and a Domain Name if you want people to connect to either of them by something other than your public IP address. If you have dynamic addressing on your broadband account you might also want to check into one of the Dynamic DNS Services that are available. This is a lot of stuff for just one post, so you might want to split this up amongst a few different areas on this site. This a long post and I have just touched on a couple of your questions.
