adding server edition expansion system

I have a customer with a server edition r11.0.4.3.0 build 3. Primary server & one expansion system V2. I am adding another expansion system V2.

Do I need to reboot the primary server after adding the expansion system?

I have been told that even though the primary server shows "merge" when loading the changes with Manager I should change the primary server to "reboot".

If your not going to it right don't bother doing it at all!

Don't see why. It adds IP Office lines and that works without reboot.

The new expansion will potentially reboot.

I added 3 IP500v2 Expansions to mine last week and didn't reboot the server, not seen any issues but also not tried the new gateways yet as Covid is blocking site visit and there is no one there to use them. The server and all the existing expansions still working (no complaints from the users on those).
