Hi,

I have added a third scsi hard drive. Drives 0 and 1 are two 34.6 Compaq hard drives. I am running Raid 1. Through hard ware I can configure the third SCSI drive (34.6 GB) as raid 0. Linux does not see it. When running dmesg, I do not see the third hard drive. Linux did not auto detect the new hard ware. I have no clue what I am doing wrong.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

i don't know about RH and SCSI, but on my SuSE, it can't see the SCSI disks, until the SCSI controlled has booted in the BIOS.. after that, it will load the SCSI driver to control the SCSI controller.. so u might want to look at configuring your SCSI controller to detec the new disk at boot, and then RH should see it..

good luck...
