adding roller overs to gifs meno does not work 1

Here is what I am trying to do.

I have a html file "Home.html" with a table with 3 rows.
Each row will contain one of each: header, menu and footer. I have created a menu in fireworks to link to different pages with rollerovers. I then insert the menu into the row of the table in the html file, but when I preview the menu in IE the rollovers do not works. Am I missing something. In fireworks preview they work fine. I exported the gif and
slices to one folder. Is there a common mistake I am overlooking?

How have you created your rollover effects?

There is more than one method.
It sounds to me that perhaps you have not actually created your rollover effects yet.

Just did a quick search for a tutorial for you; this is the method we use most often; and it also supports easy editing because the graphics are on separate frames:

If you follow this method, it is also easy to take the next step and learn how to create and edit the drop down menu from the slice menu.
