Hello, I've recently taken over managing our Panasonic TDA200 PBX, and unfortunately the handover from predecessor wasn't very long, and don't know where a lot of things are!

We are trying to add more DECT repeaters to our Panasonic, as we have a few not-spots around the place, but I have been able to get new ones to connect and I'm not sure why.

The base unit is KX-TDA0142, and the repeaters are a KX-A272. I believe we have about 2 (at most 3, A272s) connected to our base station.

When I try to connect an A272 I do what it says in the manual, by holding the connect button down for 10 secs, and it then starts flashing red/green rapidly for a couple of minutes, then flashes/steadies a readlight at me and doesn't connect.

If I don't push the connect button, it just flashes a greenlight at me infinitely, and doesn't connect.

Are A272s compatible with the 0142s? The reason I ask is that I've added a new base station to our PBX, as I don't know where the original base station was (no one knows), or what model it was. I can't trace the wiring because it goes up into conduits!!!

I know that the repeaters are in range of the base station, because I've tried connecting a repeater right next to the base station!!!

As I've said, the handover wasn't very extensive, so any help you can provide me with this would be greatly appreciated. I'm using the equipment my predecessors have supplied, and would assume it's all compatible.

Many thanks every one!!
