The form I have created won't allow me to add new records or type in the field in the new records. The error message I get "can't add new records, join key of table 'Downtime' is not in record set. How do I get this table in record set?

Please help me I have to have this fixed today!

what is the recordsource of your form? a table or a query?

then you have to ensure that the keys which join key of the table 'Downtime' is located within the query. Click the relationships button in your main database window, identify which key in the 'Downtime' table is the join key and add it to the query which the form is based on.
