There is a recipe button on my bartenders menu- Id like to get some drink recipes in for them. Where can I do that? Aloha 5.3.28

thx

Version 6.1 it is in item maintenance, might be the same for 5.3? Find the item, click edit, then the recipe button.

1.Is it possible for Bartenders and/or servers to print the recipe at the POS?

2. Are there any limitations to the size(IE:# of characters or lines)of the text field for recipes(wine information can get quite lengthy).

Thanks

just create the txt file under aloha/recipe . the name should be like this 1234.txt, 1234 is the item number, which you need to change according to.
I dont think there is any limitations on the lines, but you can play with it

Mercedes11 is correct.
Item Maintenance, click Edit, click Recipe, message pops up "could not open file an new one will be created"(if one doesnt already exist). Enter the text and save it, refresh to update FOH. The file save as RCxxx.txt, xxx=the item number. The documents are saved to the RECIPE folder in the Aloha root.

You can print the recipe at the POS. There is no limitation to the size.
