What needs to be set up on a Mac OS X system to add it to a Windows 2K Advanced Server Domain? It needs to be able to share files, and receive email from Exchange on the server.

We use a tool called "DAVE" from software developer Thursby

To make exchange working, you could add the AppleTalk protocol to your exchange server.

You'll notice that MS Outlook for Mac can also connect to the exchange server using AppleTalk instead of TCP/IP, so no NetBIOS lookup is needed.

For filesharing you can use DAVE.
