Adding OBSERVE & CONFERANCE to a 2008 Phone

I need to program button 06 for OBSERVE and button 04 for CONFERANCE . Can someone provide step by step instruction on this matter I would be most greatfull. I am new to the Medridan Option 11c. I use to manage a Lucent PBX.

You'll have to change from an agent phone to a supervisor phone. Then pick a key to assign the observe function.

For clarification... I meant you have to change the config- not the actual phone.

Key 4 was an MSB. This key still needs to be assigned for ACD. You could replace PRK or TRN but you would need to provide some training to the user is one of these functions are removed for transfering or parking calls.

What is this line &quot;KEY x AO6 (or AO3)&quot; ? Also how about the Conferance function?

AO6 = six party conference
AO3 = 3 party conference
