adding notes to sales invoices

Someone told me that there is a way to add notes to a specific sales invoice when doing an A/R collection call. Where is this facility? I'm using version 5.3B.

Also, what is this field called because I'm trying to create my own crystal report (using version 8.5).
 
Someone"? As a rule, you can't add any data to a posted transaction. Were they talking about the Zippy Notes add-on product?

Open A/R Customers, Customers.
Select the customer you are calling and go to the comments tab, then enter the dates and collection call details. There is a standard report to print out these comments, so just look at the report to see which table is used.
