adding Nortel regular digital phone to avaya i.p. office

Hi guys,

I have a Nortel Digital set - T7208. I want to add this set to the I.P. office with a new extension.

Under "extension" in I.P. OFFICE ... what should I choose H323 OR SIP extension?

When I choose either one of them ... it try to find a i.p. handset?

Please suggest?

The T7208 is a legacy digital set carried over from Norstar/BCM, these are not IP sets, so you would need either a TCM8 card, DS16A or DS30A expansion modules, these were released specifically for the M / T series handsets.
