Hello,

I have s Windows 2000 Domain (sp3 yet) with 1 RIS server at each office. A RIS image is created for the HP evo 510 sff pc. This works fine. I want this RIS image installed on a HP d530UP pc. I get the message that the right NIC drivers should be installed. I downloaded the drivers en placed them in newly created $oem$\$1\Drivers\Nic directory. This is created in the Image directory in the same directory level as the I386 directory.
I also adjusted the riprep.sif file. All according to microsoft article Q246184. It still doesn't work

Can anyone help me with this problem?

I found 3 possiblities when I got this problem:

A) If it's an Intel Pro 10/100 any model, you must also copy the files in your I386 folder in the RIS image.

B) It's the wrong drivers. It has to be EXACLTY the right driver

C) Replace/Add a 3COM 3C905, it's cheaper then spending 3 days figuring it out.
