I am a network consultant and I have just been asked to take over the support for a Partner II system with VMS 5. There are two cabinets to the system and up to a few weeks ago, there was only one slot left in the second cabinet. The VMS module was installed in the next to last slot of the second unit. I ordered an additional extension module in the last avaibable slot in the second unit, they needed more extensions.
The system was set up to handle 11 incoming lines, with line 10 being the only line handled by the AA. With the new board installed, the account wanted to add two more lines to the AA hunt group. I punched the two lines into the new board and assigned the line numbers to the AA line assignments. When calling the number assigned to line 10, I get into the AA, but calling the two new lines, I do not get any answer.
Is there any issues surrounding the slot where the VMS module is placed, and if not, what have I overlooked in attempting to set up this situation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks....Jim
