Hello,

We are looking at increasing our capacity with 2 more T1 lines and have already installed the cards but I do not see them when doing a dis-bcsu:tbl;

The new cards should show up in 1-1-5 and 1-2-5 respectively, however they don't show up at all.

Is there another command for them to be recognized?

Thanks in advance!

---Mike

Did you build TDCSU yet? If this new board will use the same COT/COP, trunk group, etc, as the other DIU2U boards, then you can simply modify the PEN in a REGEN-TDCSU command. But first verify that your trunk group (BUEND) is large enough to accommodate the extra channels.

This is just a question as I learn about the 4000. Don't you have to add the part numbers of the boards into BCSU first like you do on 9006? Or does TDCSU do that?

I checked the trunk group and looks like it can max at 60, see output below..

Next question I have is when I do the Regen, REGEN-TDCS will it disrupt the switch or users at all??? If so then I would have to schedule after hours...

REG-TDCSU will not disrupt anything. It merely displays the entire AMO necessary to rebuild the trunk circuit(s).

You did perform ADD-BCSU, correct? The boards do not automatically populate the BCSU hardware table. If you are not familiar with that process, then perform REGEN-BCSU; and you will see how to add a trunk board.
