Hi,

I need some input on how to do add more space to my DL360 running Windows 2000. Server has two hot-swap bays and currenty has one 36G disk, 2nd bay is empty.

I would like to repalce this 36G drive with 72G drive and also add another 72G drive in the 2nd bay. These two need to be mirrored. I should be able to get off everything from the 36G drive and then discard it.

Someone suggested to do this

Run Array Configy Utility
Expand the current array with 2nd bay filled with one of the 72G drive
Let it rebuild
Change RAID 0 to RAID 1+0
Take the 36G disk out and replace it with the other 72G disk
Let it rebuild

Would this work?

I would like to keep the drive letter etc. the same ,, so when i am done my E drive should have 36G of free space.

Thanks for your input.
