I have a Partner 7.0 Avaya system and using the 34D button phone. I currently have a uniden cordless plugged into my 34d button phone but it broke on me, it's 5.8GHz. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good cordless phone I can purchase?

Would you be looking to purchase another Consumer cordless telephone or one that is designed to work directly with the Partner ACS?

For Consumer cordless telephones, Uniden, Panasonic, VTech and at&t (made by VTech since 2000) are the major labels.

Avaya does sell a Uniden-manufactured cordless telephone that is designed to work directly with the Partner ACS, but it is more expensive than Consumer cordless telephones.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

Check for the most range with the minimum features. None of the "bells and whistles" will work with the Partner, so don't bother getting excited by them. Go to Staples, or wherever, and ask about the longest range one.

Too bad the processor isn't an 8.0. Then Caller ID would work. [sad]
