we had two sites on different locations
for some reasons we shutdown one of the site and on the order certificate (CS 1000E keycode Sheet) i do see it was ordered for 1 digital card and 14 analog cards
digital : 16
class tels : 232
ip user : 26

at the end 26 keycode lines printed A=xxxx B=xxxx C=xxxx D=xxxx (16 keys each line)

Can we extend one of our site based on the one we shut down so we can use 2 digital cards and 464 class tels

The Keycode is based on the Tape ID or Serial #. You cant use a keycode from a different switch.

putting MGS / CPPM card of other switch can help ?

If you want the licensing from the other switch and the additional TN's then sure, you can use those cards and dongle. But you will have to back up and restore the database.

i will need to backup the other switch and restore it into live site dongle ?

In order to move the licensing from one physical system to another, Avaya would need to decommission the first system and add those licenses to your working system in the form of a new keycode with the additional counts on it. I don't know of any other way to do it.

If that doesn't work for you, you could physically move the other switch to your site, and connect the two with tie lines and run both at one site - rather kludgy - but it would allow you to use those other licensees.

we have all hardware of second site and it was running fine
to avoid having two site codes for same location might be disturbing
lets say dial CODE+DN for this depart and for other department dial different CODE+DN
secondly DNs of both sites are same
not sure how avaya can help as sites were purchased in 2008

You cannot use keycodes from site A on site B without involving Avaya.

secondly the DNs of both sites are same" if you were to relocate the system and have two systems on one site, you would probably remove all the DN's in the second system and incorporate the new programming into your main site dialing plan. Coordinated Dialing Plan features could route the calls between the two systems without having to make it look like there were two sites....
it creates more work from a programming perspective, but if you don't want Avaya to move the licenses from one system to the other, then you have no other choice.....
