Can someone help me with putting some text onto my site. I have a few lines of text (Arial, large size) which I want to appear as though it is being typed onto the page as the user views it. This only needs to happen once so I don't need to worry about looping it, although am thinking of looping it once every 10 seconds.

Does the above make sense? can someone tell me if it can be done and give me some ideas on where to start?

Excellent, thats exactly what I was looking for.

Thankyou :)

Hi

I followed the tutorial at and when I tried it with just one line of text it worked fine. But I am trying it with 5 lines and for some reason it does not work, the first 2 lines don't appear at all but the last 3 lines type out as expected.

Also when I insert the flash into my document and preview it, nothing happens. I think I am missing something on my export/publish settings. If possible can I email you the flash movie I am working on and you take a look? or do you know already whats causing my text effect to only half work?

Thanks

Ian

Ignore my last message, figured it out I forgot to convert my text to symbols. Have now been told by my boss that I have to make the top and bottom line appear typed (done that) and the 3 lines in the middle fade into view. I think I know how to do this, but if I don't know where to come for help.

thanks
