Adding more options to pay pal selections

Hello,

I am working on a fairly simple e-commerce site using paypal which works great for our needs however pay pal button factory only allows two variables from either a drop down selection or text input. I need to add just a couple of additional selections (at least) to workaround having to use another addtocart button for additional information.

For example, the shopper selects a bracelet and paypal allows selection of "size" and "color" but the bracelet can also be customized to include a person'a name (text input) and a birthstone drop down (neither of which alter the price.) I found a discussion of this at

but it is very difficult to follow

does anyone know of another discusssion of this that I could read and learn from?

I would greatly appreciate any help at all on this. If there is a more appropriate forum to post that would be greatly appreciated as well.
