If You add a 8 port Digital card to your 500v2, all need to do is Program & configure users, no license needed.
You cannot use 44xx Digital Phones with the internal 8 port Digital card.
Avaya IP endpoint license is only needed for Avaya IP Phones on R6+ Software.
