Hello
I have drew my flow chart with visio 2002. In my chart, some of the lines are quite long and it is kinda hard to see which direction they are going. So I am just wondering is there a way to add more arrows on a line in addition to the arrow at the end of the line

Thanks

Hello.
You need do this:
1) Create Line pattern in Drawing Explorer. Name it Arrows.
Then choose: Type:Line pattern, Behavior: First from left and turn on "Scaled".
2) Choose Edit pattern. Create line and triangle (like arrow). Then close "Edit".
3) Choose your dinamic connector, right-click mouse, Format>line.
3) In properties box: Template>"Arrows".
Then to your line will be add more arrows.

Digitall has the right idea, but there is one part missing. When editting in step 2, the hieght of your custom line is the line width of the final line. For arrow heads, the points of the arrow heads extend beyond the line width.
So the "Create line and triangle" part of Digitall's suggestion should be expanded to:
1) Create a long horiztonal rectangle.
2) Group the rectangle.
3) Select the rectangle and then choose "Open Group" from the edit menu.
4) Add rectangles to extend beyond the hieght of the original rectangle.

Note: You can add colour to the custom line, but when the custom line pattern is used, any part of the line that is black can be changed by selecting a different line colour. Any part of the line pattern that is not black or white will remain that colour.

The site looks interesting, but I unfortunately can not read Russian. Is there a translation of this site?

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing. When you create a custom line pattern, it should be created in black so that when the custom line pattern is applied to a shape and the line colour of the shape is changed, the black areas in the custom line pattern will take on the line colour. If the custom line pattern is created with a red area, the red area will remain red when the custom line pattern is used no matter what line colour is used on the shape that uses the custom line pattern.

If the custom line pattern is to use black that must remain black in spite of the line colour applied, use an almost black colour (255,255,254) or (255,254,255) or (254,255,255) instead on (255,255,255).

Ok. One of the ways.
1) Open CorelDRAW. In main window push F7 and hold CTRL drawing Circle.
2) Edit>Properties, next Fill and select color we need.
3) Push Fountain Fill and Edit button below.
4) Set 15-20% in Center offset. Then exit from menu and select Circle. Copy to clipboard (CTRL+C).
5) Open Visio. Next View>Windows>Drawing Explorer (Show Drawing Explorer) in this window select Fill Patterns and holding Right-click mouse, select New… Then we name it (Circle1, for example), select Behavior on first from right. Then Enter. Next we select it and holding Right-click mouse, select Edit Pattern.
Next push Ctrl+V and insert Corel object. Push Ctrl+U (In Visio 2002 Ctrl+Shift+U) and Ungroup it in VISIO object. Next return to Visio main window. Choose Circle Tool (CTRL+9). Drawing new circle in Visio. Go to Fill (F3) and select in Pattern Circle1. And we have cool ball (And it's a Visio object). All and always we may convert to Visio, and Visio will be works with this objects like own. Q is how to do this.

We are talking about two different things. I'm talking about line patterns and you are talking about fill patterns.
I ran several of your webpages through babelfish and now have an English translation. Some of the topics are interesting.

Ok, I can see the difference. Your line pattern is a series of solid coloured rectangles that give the impression of fading between two colours (a gradient fill). If you try and change the line colour of the shapes that are on the page that use your line pattern the colours remain the same.

If the line pattern was created as a black and white image, when applied to a shape, the black areas will take on the foreground colour and the white areas will take on the background colours. Any other colour will remain the same.

As you have already found out, you can not apply a gradient fill to a line pattern. The gradient is replaced by a solid colour.

My mistake, lines do not have foreground or background colours, just line colour.
If you create one of your series of gradient rectangles with one of the colours as black, you should be able to "adjust" the gradient colour of the line pattern when it is applied to a shape by changing the line colour of the shape.

Custom fills do not have as many restrictions.

Exactly, that pattern is black on white and when it is applied to a shape, the pattern changes when the shapes line colour is changed.
