It is my understanding that when populating the membership of a group, you can include members of another group by reference to that group. This is working for Distribution Groups, but I cannot get groups to show up in the Select Users Dialog box when adding members to a Security Group. Is this correct?

In other words, I am creating a Security Group and I want to add members from another Security Group. It seems that I should be able to do this just by adding that group to membership of the one I am creating. Is this not correct??

What mode is your domain in? You can't do nested groups in mixed mode.

We are in Windows 2000 mixed. We have since removed the final remaining NT server, so we really don't need to be in mixed mode anymore. I should consider changing it.

Thanks for your insight.
