Adding LUNS to HDS 9960 Port

Has anyone ever ran into a problem with adding a new LUN to a HDS 9960 port that Exchange also resides on? I am currently using Emulex LP8000 HBA's with firmware 3.90a7 and driver 2.13a4 for windows 2000. When I add/create a new LUN and present it down the same HDS port that Exchange 2000 resides, my exchange server crashes. Any ideas?

Hi,
We had some trouble last year involving our AIX. they crashed when we added some luns. It was finally solved by an upgrade of the firmware on the 9960.
So the best you can do is to contact the Hitachi team and check if you are up to date with the microcode level
