Hi,

I'm a newbie (to the SDK and also to Java...) and am going through the CE Java SDK tutorial. I'm looking to write a small batch scheduling program and what I can't see in the tutorial is how to add a database logon and password to the report before scheduling. The reports will use no parameters.

If someone could fill in some of the gaps I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The database info can be set when the report is published ( or using the CMC, afterwards); That way no database Login Info needs to be transmitted when calling the report.

Thanks, that's a good point.

However, if anyone has some sample code I still wouldn't mind seeing how this is accomplished.
