Adding lines to Pool messes up attendant station 1

On a merlin magix I have lines 801-815 in pool 890. When I add lines 816-820 to pool 891 or 892. The attendant station starts acting flakey. When you pick up a line or intercom call you can hear the other party but they do not hear me. Lines or SA buttons will not hang up unless I hit the hang up button. If I restore the programming the problem clears. Any help will be appreciated.

This sounds like a problem with a HEADSET.

I would try with the HEADSET STATUS off.

Or is there a HEADSET at all?

No headset on this station. The weird thing about this is that is that the station works fine, but when you go into programming and put the lines into the pool and nothing else the problem starts. When you do a system restore it clears right away. If you go in and do different programming steps the station works fine after you exit programming.

When you add lines to a pool, those lines are auto-added to the operator console,in the next available buttons that are not SA or Line buttons. You have probably woped out a headset status button in the process.
Move the Status button off the phone first, then add the lines to the pool.

That was it. Thanks alot for your help. It was driving us crazy for hours. (Maybe us Norstar guys shouldn't mess around with Magix).

There must have been an apearance of the 891 or 892 pool on that set in the past. (Even without lines)

Thus when you added lines, things got overwritten.
