adding items to dynamic a select box

Hi all,

can anyone help? I have a number of select list boxes on a form, if a user wants to add to the items on each box, they have a long process to add to the underlying table via a cfm page, then go back to their form, which has lost the data already entered.

Is there any way of being able to add to the list box such as the NotInList event in Access??
