Hello
I am new to routers.
I need to add/remove an IP route to cisco 2600 router. I have seen the command which is fine. After I apply it, will it be lost when router re boots. If so how do I get it to stay.
I also have a file with all the running config that I downloaded via TFTP. I use this to update access list.
Could I change the IP routing in here (Just a Wordpad File)
If so, how would I get it back into config and to make sure the changes I have made stay when router is re booted.
I know with my access list changes I I do CONF T then NO access list 101 (return) No access list 102 (return) just the ones I have changed, then I go copy start run and give destination file name. I am new to routing and am not 100pct sure of what is happening here. How would I apply the same logic to amend routing in text file and load back to replace what is there already and make sure it stays when router re boots.
I hope this makes sense.
Regards
Paul
