Adding information to an Act record - Integrating a voice recorder

Hi

We are looking at integrating a phone voice recorder to act. The voice recorder can generate a unique reference and a hyperlink to click on to replay the recording.

What we need is a way of getting this hyperlink into the detail section of a call history record. So is there any way of triggering an application or can we create a new history record that could trigger an application to get the details from the call recorder and insert the details

Any hints to 3rd party tools or api's would be great

Well, ACT! does have an SDK ... so it would be possible to write an addon where the recorder sends the information and the addon writes the history with URL
