Adding html or cgi news program page into flash design????

Does anyone know if this is possible.

Basically I would like to have some cgi based programs ie: news and schedule" adapted into my flash design, if I do thsi using a hybrid flash and swf with frames the design does not look effective.

Or does ayone have any ideas of how to create a news and schedu;le based program from within flash.

Even a link to an area that discussed this type of application ......

Just thinking... Maybe a cgi/perl script could generate a page with some extra params and then you get them by using the loadVariable function.

Exactly - it is kind of a pity it such a clunky method, but it is the only way to get data in to a Flash Movie - maybe v6 will be more streamlined?
