hi there I am wondering if somebody can help out.I have a poweredge 4600.Windows Version Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition
It has got 2 F0010 HARD DRIVEs, 73G, S, U160M, 10K, 1IN, 80P, HITACHI.
PERC3DI, V2.8
At present it has RAID but we wish to add another 3 disks and add RAID 5 for these.
What is the safest way to do this?
I have been advised that this can be done while the server is running.
What do I use to configure Raid.

I see you have been inundated with replies. How did you go with this?
You would use Array manager to create a new virtual disks that are installed with the system powered on.
Do a rescan from array manager once they are spinning then create the Virtual disk
