Hope you can help! I am adding a 10Gb drive from an older machine to a Windows XP PRO machine with a 20gb harddrive. The system sees it if I go into BIOS setup and windows sees it if I am in device manager, but it will not assign it a drive letter to access...I disconnected the CD drive to see if that was the issue, but still no dice. I have updated the machine with the latest BIOS and drivers...Any Thoughts?

Have you initialized it? - Goto "disk management" You can initialize it there, or import a foreign file system - whatever.

Sounds like you need to use the Drive management console to assign the letter.
There's a couple ways to get to it, probably the fastest is
start>run>diskmgmt.msc

Here you can partition, format, change drive letters, setup RAIDS, etc.

Remember, you're unique... just like everyone else.
