Hello all,

I am using crystal reports 11 and need to create a formula that will give me the total hours of employees that are in a certain job class (could be multiple job classes) as long as the employee has greater than 35 hours in that pay period. at the end of the report I wan to show the total hours of all the employees with greater than 35 hours in a certain job class and then show the total hours of all the employees with less than 35 hours in a certain job class. the report I have created so far shows me the employee name, job class and total hours for the pay period. any help is greatly appreciated.......THANKS

Group by employee, if you are not already doing so. Do a summary total for this group, if you are not already doing so.

Use a running total that sums hours if the total for the employee is 35 hours or more. It won't let you summarise a summary, but you should be able to sum values using the value of a summary.

If you're not already familiar with Crystal totals, the basics are explained at FAQ767-6524.
