I have Avaya AAM ver 7.0.1.
I am adding a new extension and it is in the 5000 range. I am able to add it to the CM and I can call it not a problem.
When it goes to Voicemail it does not route to voicemail for mailbox 5000, it routes to the callers voicemail.
How do I add the 5000 range to AAM?

sounds like you dont have routing from CM to AAM. You'll need to check that. UDP, AAR, route pattern, etc... And if you have Session manager in the middle you'll you'll need to check that as well.

Assuming you are using the same hunt group for messaging (and coverage path), check the private numbering table and make sure your new extension range is in there. It could be in the public-unknown-numbering if the trunk group for AAM was set up that way.
