Adding Extender field to Smartlist

I have added a simple field to the Receivables Trx Entry window. I have linked on the RM Doc Number and RM Doc Type All. I need this field in Smartlist > Receivables Trx. HOwever, the only field you can link is the Doc Type, so that doesn't help.

How can I get this field into Smartlist? If we can't report on this field, there's no point in creating the field.

Using GP 8.
