Adding equipment costs to ms project

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum so would appreciate any assistance with this> I am reasonably familiar with ms project but have stumbled on something lately regarding equipment. I just cant remember.

Ok I would like to forecast my cash flow on a project
I have entered all tasks
I have entered all resources

I am struggling with equipment

I would like to buy 7 pieces of kit (we'll say bricks) and each one costs £1400 each.

How do i show this in ms project?

They will probably arrive on the same day on the project.

I would set up brick as a material resource. (Switch type on the Resource Sheets). Set up a cost for the resource as needed.

Then assign the 7 bricks to the task as needed.
