adding emp name while doing data entry

We have several people using the same access database. They want to be able to have the employee's name automatically be added to the records that the emp is updating. Right now they are pulling the information from a drop down menu, but they are complaining that it is taking too long.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be completed?

You can pull the users network login with code from Get Login name. This function can be the default value of a text box on a form. You could also use code in the before update event in the form to insert the login into the table.
