Adding Domain Local Group to Local Administrators Group...

I have a script that quite cheerfully adds users and Global Groups to the local administrator group but it won't add Domain Local Groups to the local admin group.

Is this even possible to automate?

There are a fair few people (According to Google) who wants to do this but also can't find a way to do it.

The domain local group's scope is conditional to the functional level (native vs mixed mode) of the domain. Mixed mode may pose problem.
