Hello there!
I need to add a new DN line (5800) to an existing extension... but when I prt->dnb the extension to get the proper TN I get a TYPE LDN!

REQ: prt
TYPE: dnb

DN 5676
TYPE LDN

I search the forums and find out that LDN means "LISTED DIRECTORY NUMBERS" and that extension is probably a console.

I also checked the LDN:

If this thing were a 3904 a "KEY x MCR 5800" will do

Question is: How to I add the 5800 DN to only this particular console?

Thanks a lot!

Go to the phone with 5676 on it and call your own desk extension.

Keep the call going - now go to LD80 and trace your own extension and the "ORIG" will be the TN you need to add the new number to.

I doubt it is a console - those look different and are wider than a computer keyboard.

by console you mean 2250? i don't remember a prompt for a console to have a pvt number.. atdn is for all consoles.. i would prt the cdb and do a search for 5800... or try adding it to ldn data then remove it... it almost looks like coruption at this point..

another question.. what happens when you dial 5800?
