Adding device on the map 1

we are running HP NNM on a windows 2000 platform. I would like to know how do I add a new device to the NNM map. what
is currect loadhosts command. loadhosts ipaddress / subnetmask. Is this currect? somebody help me with this please

Use Loadhosts -m (subnet mask)
then type in the ip address, space, the name of the device
if you have this ip on your hosts file then you can can give any name here and it will look it up and change it as soon as it is discovered
