I'm using CR XI.

I'm not sure if this is possible but I'd like to add a font into CR. I have a logo with a custom font. My original idea was to save a picture of it the half-assed way by doing a print screen, putting it in Paint, cutting out the logo, and saving it as a .jpg. While doable, it makes the image all grainy and it just doesn't look good.

What I'm trying to do now is recreate the logo (or at least the text of it) using text objects and lines. Problem is now that the font isn't in CR. MS Word has the font so I know it's at least on my computer but is there a way to get it into CR?

Couldn't you just add the logo as an OLE object? Or copy and paste it into a text object?

Ian, I think you're right. I looked in the CR help and it said to avoid issues to use TrueType fonts.

LB, I can add the logo as an OLE object but the problem is I get it through Paint and, after all the cutting/pasting and resizing the image, it looks grainy. I'll ask around the office and see if anyone can help me get the original logo.
