Adding Cordless Phone to Legend R7

I would like to add a cordless phone to my Merlin Legend R7 phone system. I have a 016 T/R already. I would like the phone to ring just like the other extensions. Can I plug it in to, say ext 44 on the 016 and add ext 44 to my CO pool or is there more to it?

Yes, if you want it to receive calls on the incoming lines, not just when it is specifically called internally, assign the pool to it. You will still dial 9 for ARS on outbound.
