Adding contacts to be ableo to email

I have a particular laptop that will not allow me to add the contacts to use as an email address book, when I right click on the contacts folder and go to outlook address book the tick box for show this folder as an email address book is greyed out.

Any help much appreciated

Is there a tick in the box?. Mine has a tick and is greyed out by default to prevent the unchecking of that box.
