Hi,
I am trying to add a sql command in Crystal X1. After I create it and finish linking to tables I receive an error "More than one datasource or store procedure has been used in this report. Make sure that no SQL expression is added and no server side group by is performed. " When I refresh the report it is EXTREMELY, PAINFULLY slooooow!! Please advise.

If you link to a command, the link occurs locally, which slows the report. It would be faster if you could build the entire report query into the command. You can ignore the warning--the command is treated as a separate datasource, so you have then two being used in the report.

You might consider creating Views on the database instead of an Add Command, it provides the same performance and functionality, but adds reusability and ease of maintenance.

THANKS LBASS, I FOLLOWED YOUR ADVICE AND WROTE THE ENTIRE REPORT QUERY INTO THE COMMAND. I GET NO ERROR NOW AND IT RATHER FAST. THANKS ALOT.
