Good morning. I want to add another router and make it a repeater (I'll probably flash different software onto the router), however I have a general question. How strong does the signal need to be for a repeater to work? Can I put it where the signal is only about 10%? Or should I put it closer?

Thanks,

J

Actually I want to use WDS, but don't know too much about it, could someone explain the basics to me?

Thanks,

J
