Adding another hard drive

Okay I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about. But you can add up to 2 EIDE devices per controller. So if the cable has to connectors you can add a second drive. You just need to set the second drive jumper to a slave and make sure the jumper on the first drive is set to master.
