Adding and/or extending Tables?

I would like to either add a new table to hold transactions linked to the main Contact1 table OR modify the structure of the Conthist table to add new fields that can subsequently used in reporting, viewing on screen within GM etc.

Can anyone advise on this or point me to a source for further info?

Hi

Typically, this sort of information is typically held in the Details tab as fields can be customised to hold the data required and the data give it's own tab to sit on.
Because it has a Many-to-One relationship with the Contact1 table is ideal for transactional based data.
